About us

Who we are

Alaska Home Missions is compelled by the conviction that every person, from every culture, in every part of Alaska matters to God.

Every person. No matter where they’re at. No matter what they’re facing.

There are some real hurts needing healed across Alaska. Hurts caused by abuse, abandonment, and violence.

There are some real chains to be broken: chains of depression, suicide, poverty.

Our God is bigger than these things. We’ve seen Jesus set many people free.

But there are more. The need is still great.

Many still need to experience the love of Jesus.

That’s why we’re here.

Alaska Home Missions is a department of the Alaska Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God.

Our work is straightforward: win the lost, strengthen believers, equip leaders, support churches.

Reach every village, by any available means.

You could play a part.

God could use you to change a life. To restore a family. To transform a community.

Our Team

  • Terry Hull
    Director
Terry Hull was called to missions at a young age. Years later fulfilling that call began with a 4000 mile trek to Alaska in 1996. During the summer of 1997, while flying into a small, remote village, God birthed a passion for reaching native people in bush Alaska. Terry travels throughout the state, sharing the Word with young and old alike, reaching Alaska with the message of hope.
  • Jeremiah Niemuth
    Assistant Director
Pastor Jeremiah & Sharnay Niemuth love reaching those who have not heard the message of truth. Since 2004, they have been pressing forward in “knowing God and making Him known” in Alaska. They have been full-time pastors in Fort Yukon since 2006, and they are excited to see God continue to work in their community!
